Because, removed from my usual environment... auditions, marketing, auditions, paid work, auditions, content creation... did I mention auditions?... I got out of the daily mental cycle of "next task up," and breaking that cycle brought a fresh perspective: the importance of all of those daily tasks got right-sized. The task itself isn't as important as the consistency with which it's done. I was so energized, I'm thinking of vacating for an entire 2 days every week.
